DAY 1: YANGON ARRIVAL (-/-/-)

Once arrive to the Yangon International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide for your transfer to your hotel in the city. Check in to hotel and the rest of the day is on your leisure and relaxation. Stay overnight in Yangon.

DAY 2-5: YANGON & NGAPALI BEACH (B/-/-)

ngapali-day1After the breakfast at hotel, you will be driven to Yangon Domestic Airport for flight to Thandwe. In Thandwe, you will be picked up at the airport by a colleague of the resort and taken to the beach.There are several pristine and beautiful beaches in Myanmar, all ideal for relaxation but Ngapali is surely the most famous beach in Myanmar yet one of the least visited in Asia. It can be access by flight to Thandwe from major tourist destinations such as Yangon, Nyaung U (Bagan) and Heho (Inle Lake). In Ngapali you will find a series of unspoiled white sandy beaches and crystal-clear blue water for snorkelling, sailing and wind surfing. Relax in the shade of swaying coconut palm trees, wander along the silver sands and watch the fishermen during their daily catch or just let the breeze from the Bay of Bengal clear your mind you probably would not want to leave. Rest of the day is on your leisure and relaxation. Your overnight stay will be spent on Ngapali beach.

DAY 6: NGAPALI BEACH & YANGON (B/-/-)

ngapali-day2You will have some more time for relaxation in the morning. Then you will be brought to the Thandwe Airport for your onward flight to Yangon. Our station guide will receive you at the airport and accompanies you to have full day sightseeing in the garden city. You will start your excursion to Sule Pagoda the excellent landmark of Yangon and leisurely walk along the streets lined with the British Colonial era buildings passing through the Mahabandoola Park. From here set off to Bogyoke Aung San Market, this sprawling over 80 years old market has the largest selection of Myanmar traditional handicrafts, cotton, silk, jewellery and all kind of souvenirs you will find under several roofs.You will also take a short visit to 70 metre-long Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha worth for a great insight into Buddhism. End your day with a visit to the 2,500 years old Shwedagon Pagoda, the highlight of any trip to Myanmar perhaps one of the most beautiful pagoda complex in Asia. From there you will be escorted back to your hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 7: YANGON DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

This may be the end of your beautiful journey but you will still have time to explore the garden city on your own. It time to say goodbye and you will be then transferred to the airport for your departure flight to home.

General remarks: 

  • There is a hotel surcharge and some extra compulsory services for reservations in special times (New Year, Christmas, etc.).Any change of the itinerary or number of participants is subject to price change.
  • For any modification of date or itinerary the prices can be revised.
  • Usually room available only from 14:00 on the arrival date to 12:00 on the departure date. Depending on the hotels policy, the supplement will be added for early check-in or late check-out.

Once a booking is confirmed we can provide more precise timings, but these remain nevertheless subject to change without notice by the airlines until travelling date.
